Toe Nail Fungus

Do you have discolored, yellow, brittle, or thick toe nails? Are you self-conscious about wearing sandals, open toed shoes, or walking barefoot on the beach? If this sounds like you, then you may be experiencing toe nail fungus,
or “Onychomycosis.” This is a very common and often embarrassing condition that you may feel self conscious about. Because of a breakthrough technology now offered at Forever Trim Centers for Plastic Surgery, you no longer need to
worry! We now have a non-invasive procedure that can help to gain back your confidence and will have showing off your feet in no time!

What is Onychomycosis?

This common infection of the nails is called Onychomycosis. According to the Mayo Clinic, Onychomycosis is a fungal infection in one or more of your nails. An infection with nail fungus may begin as a white or yellow spot under
the tip of your fingernail or toenail. As the nail fungus spreads deeper into your nail, it may cause your nail to discolor, thicken and develop crumbling edges — an unsightly and potentially painful problem that many people struggle
with. The fungus then causes a breakdown of the keratin within your nail plate. Here at Forever Trim we are going to make your worries go away!

How can Onychomycosis be treated?

We are now able to provide a non-invasive cool laser technology to aid in the treatment and destruction of the potential fungus. The laser is so sophisticated that it can detect and reach the proper target temperature set by the doctor
leading to death of the fungus. The treatment stops the fungus immediately and then the nail is cooled with a spray. This allows for fungal death without damaging the skin or the nail growth plate. Each treatment is approximately 20 minutes long with zero pain, discomfort, or downtime! This procedure is a lot less messy and time consuming than creams or ointments that must be applied daily for months, and sometimes might not even work! You may see a result with just one treatment! Based on your personal assessment, more than one treatment may be needed to completely remove the fungus.

Within a few months you WILL see a dramatic result in the improvement of the quality and appearance of the nail.  If these troublesome symptoms sound like issues you may be having, Clean Touch could be the perfect solution for you!
